Welcome to the Quiet Lakes Neighborhood
We are pleased to welcome you to our neighborhood and to the Quiet Lakes community, or if you have been here for awhile, we’d like to introduce you to the Quiet Lakes Improvement Association.
We are sure you chose the Quiet Lakes for many of the same reasons so many of us have chosen this special place in the Northwoods: the serene surroundings, the beauty of nature, the quiet atmosphere, and the peaceful waterways.
The QLIA Welcome Team would like to come meet you if you’re new to the neighborhood, or would like more information about joining the our lake Association. We’d like to meet you and drop off a welcome bag, which includes helpful booklets and important information to help you get settled, or if you’ve been here awhile, it may refresh some of the information about the area.
The Welcome Team is excited to get to know you and assist in any way we can. We are happy to answer questions about the area and provide useful information about living “Up North.” included in our canvas tote, you will find important phone numbers, lake maps, boat launch locations, dump location and hours, clean boat program information, boating and fishing regulations, an updated area dining guide, a list of businesses on the Quiet Lakes, local businesses and artisans, and volunteer opportunities for the Quiet Lakes Improvement Association.
Purchasing a new home and moving to a new area can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we are here to help. We are happy to welcome you to our unique and beautiful home. The Quiet Lakes Improvement Association, also known as QLIA, is the organization that supports and advocates for the health of our lakes and shorelines on Teal, Lost Land, and Ghost Lakes. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this progressive and important organization in our community.
