Join Us! Open Executive Board Meeting – June 6th!
June 6, 2026 – 10 am at the Town of Spider Lake, doors open at 9:30 am. Please join us to receive an update on important activities that will impact the short and long term health of our lakes. The Board will provide updates on 2026 activities including:
- Teal River dam assessment project
- Shoreline assessment plans
- AIS and EWM management update
- Water quality trends and process for all lakes
- Lake consultant update
- Short and long term project needs and costs to proactively manage our lake ecosystem.
Attendees can also pay dues, buy the new Quiet Lakes T-Shirt, make tier donations to receive a Quiet Lakes scratch pad, pennant or pick-up absentee ballots for the upcoming election on 7/11/2026.
ANNUAL MEETING 7/11 : BY LAW CHANGES AND BOARD POSITIONS UP FOR ELECTION
- Bylaw changes and open Board member seats to be voted on July 11th, 2026 at the Annual Meeting.
- We will be voting on 7 Amendments to the current QLIA Bylaws that can be reviewed HERE
- Request an absentee ballot at pncowan@gmail.com or pick one up at the Open Executive Board meeting on 6/6/26 at Town Hall.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: CLEAN BOATS, CLEAN WATERS WATERCRAFT INSPECTION
The QLIA is looking for volunteers to help monitor our boat launches during the 2026 season. Volunteers will help check boats and trailers for invasive species, ask boaters a few simple DNR-provided questions, and hand out educational materials at the launches.
Volunteers play an important role in helping protect our lakes from invasive species and reducing the future costs of treatment and removal. A few hours of your time can make a big difference in helping keep our lakes clean, healthy, and enjoyable for everyone. If you are interested in volunteering please email 3quiet.lakes@gmail.com
QLIA Annual Picnic – Save the Date!
Join us for the QLIA Annual Picnic on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Boulder Lodge on Ghost Lake (off Hwy 77)!
We’re planning a fun and relaxing afternoon to show our appreciation for our members, featuring:
- Delicious food
- Corn hole (bean bag) tournament
- Annual Pie Auction
- Other activities to enjoy the day together and celebrate our lakes!
