2025 QLIA BOARD ELECTION RESULTS
The Annual Meeting of the Teal, Lost Land, and Ghost Lakes Improvement Association, Inc. was held on July 12th at 10:00 a.m. at the Town of Spider Lake Hall. Here was the agenda for our meeting: LINK
Three Executive Board positions were up for election this year: President, Secretary and Director at Large.
Here are the election results:

94 absentee ballots cast, 154 out of 226 members voted

LAKE BIOLOGIST PRESENTATION FROM ANNUAL MEETING
Matt Berg, our Research Biologist from Endangered Resource Services, provided a presentation about lake ecology and plant life – Using Plants to Help Understand and Improve Our Waters . Thank You O’Brien/Parmenter Hosts: EWM AWARENESS EVENT 6/28/25
- The O’Brien and Parmenter families sponsored an amazing neighbor event for the members of the Quiet Lakes Improvement Association for an informational, educational awareness and fundraising event.
- Natalie Erler, Sawyer County Conservation Specialist and AIS Coordinator attended to discuss invasive species threats from other nearby lakes, threats to our own lakes and awareness of the overall invasive species issues we face.
- Attendees enjoyed the beautiful lake views, had amazing smoked barbecue and all the trimmings, yummy side dishes and baked potato bar, cold beverages and the neighborly spirit of our Quiet Lakes residents!
- Several fundraising activities: 60/40 cash split the pot and other raffle prizes donated by area businesses.
- All of the proceeds are used to keep our Quiet Lakes clean and clear!
- Thanks to all who attended and helped support this event!
2025 QLIA APPRECIATION PICNIC AUGUST 10TH – REEL LIVIN RESORT
Please join us on August 10th at 11 a.m. for the QLIA Annual Appreciation Picnic at Reel Livin Resort, lunch will be served at 12 noon.
- Enjoy hot dogs, brats and hamburgers off the grill, scrumptious side dishes and desserts.
- Cornhole tournament, 50/50 Raffle, 3 Guide Trips and Gift Certificate Auctions
