Supporting the Quiet Lakes Teal, Lost Land & Ghost Lakes: Save the date for Summer Fest 2024 Fundraising Event 7/28/24 from Noon to 4 p.m. at Lakewoods Resort.

The excitement is building as we announce the much-anticipated Summer Fest 2024, a fundraising event supporting the preservation and protection of Wisconsin’s lakes. Scheduled for Sunday, July 28th, from Noon to 4 PM, at the enchanting Lakewoods Resort on Lake Namakagon, this event promises an afternoon of entertainment, community, and a shared commitment to safeguard our precious natural resources and raise funds to support the AIS plans for the Quiet Lakes Improvement Association (Teal, Lost Land and Ghost Lakes)

Event Highlights:

  • Live Music: Enjoy the captivating dance music of Northern Wisconsin’s “Musician of the Year,” creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy.
  • Pig Roast: Indulge in a mouthwatering real “Pig Roast,” adding a delicious and communal element to the festivities.
  • Silent Auction: Bid on exciting items at our large silent auction, featuring unique and sought-after treasures.
  • Gift Certificate Mystery Wall: Explore the fun of our gift certificate wall, offering a chance to win fantastic prizes while supporting a worthy cause.
  • 50/50 Cash Raffle
  • Education and Information regarding Eurasian Milfoil on our lakes and the plans for managing the spread of invasive species on the Quiet Lakes and surroundings area lakes.

Purpose: Preserving Wisconsin’s Lakes

Summer Fest aims to raise funds to overcome invasive threats that jeopardize the health of Wisconsin’s lakes. A portion of the proceeds will be dedicated to “Fishing Has No Boundaries,” whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing.
